Shield of the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose
A true California girl, Sr. Ramona spent much of her life growing up and working in Southern California before she moved up to Silicon Valley a few years ago.  After joining the Dominicans, Sr. Ramona spent much of her time involved in educating youth as a Catholic high school teacher and principle serving at Sacred Heart High School and Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy in the archdiocese of Los Angeles.  During her long tenure in education, Sr. Ramona has regularly engaged with youth from different demographics and various parts of the world, with many of her students of coming from Asia, enabling her to have good insight into the life and challenges faced by many young Asians.

In addition to her work experience and formation as a Dominican sister, Sr. Ramona holds graduate degrees in both English and Counseling.  She currently serves as a counselor for the Catholic Community at Stanford, sits on the board of trustees of Moreau Catholic High School, and serves together with the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose.
