As members of the Body of Christ, we are all called to support missionaries throughout the world so that all might come to know the mercy and love or our Lord Jesus Christ. As part of your support for foreign missionaries, we ask that you regularly pray for the St. Francis Xavier Lay Missionary Society. MISSION PRAYER
Lord of All Nations,
We thank you for giving us the command
to proclaim Your message of compassion to all people.
Bless all missionaries, called to this unique work
of proclaiming Your Name to foreign lands.
May your Spirit of Providence be with the
ST. FRANCIS XAVIER LAY MISSIONARY SOCIETY.
Bring them holy men and women
dedicated to spreading Your good news,
the opportunity to do Your work
and the fortitude & grace to bring Your Name to all.

PRAYER OF EVANGELIZATION AND WITNESS
O Precious Lord,
Through the gift of Your grace and the special way that You have called me
Grant me to be a bold and humble witness of Your Truth and Love
To all those in my midst today.

PRAYER TO SAINT FRANCIS XAVIER
O Father of goodness,
You so loved the world to give your only begotten Son
that whoever believes in Him may have eternal life.
Through the intercession of St. Francis Xavier,
who brought the Gospel of salvation to many people,
grant me be a courageous preacher of Your Word,
salt of the earth and light of the world.
Through the gift of the Spirit and the witness of my life,
May Your mercy be better known and all people enjoy Your salvation,
Through Christ our Lord.

Current Prayer Requests
That the Holy Spirit lead more Catholic laity with the call to foreign mission to serve with faith, honor, courage, sincerity, trust, and perseverance in dedicating themselves to this vital calling in the Church
That more men and women will support foreign missions with their gifts & blessings
For an Asian ministry that is trying to stand tall amidst great adversity
For the continued spiritual strength and encouragement of our missionaries
That our upcoming speaking engagements will inspire other Catholic laity to become more fully engaged in their faith and live out a spirit of evangelization
That priests and religious will actively work to promote a healthy environment of mission that allows for actualized growth and support within the Church of foreign mission
For two lay women in Hong Kong who have supported our ministry locally and whose own faith formation initiatives have incredible potential for the English speaking community in Hong Kong and are in concert with our own
That participants of our Called & Gifted workshops will effectively discern their charisms and use them for God's glory in their surrounding community
That those who are persecuted for their faith around the world find strength in the Spirit and hope in the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ
For increased donations to support the printing of bilingual New Testaments and works of Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta for evangelizing the faith to native Chinese speakers
For long-term housing for our lay missionaries both at home and abroad
For greater administrative assistance at home to help make our mission and domestic ministries possible

Please offer your prayers for the repose of the soul of Fr. Dave Ayotte, beloved spiritual director to the founder of our mission, whose devoted care, wisdom, and guidance has helped make our mission what it is today. His love, care, wisdom, and support for Tricia in particular over the last six years is beyond measure and he will be deeply missed.
As Christians, we believe that Father Dave will continue to guide and serve our mission even more efficaciously from above with the wisdom and love of Christ and constant prayerful intercessions. Your prayers are so deeply appreciated at this time, especially as we prepare our hearts with hopeful anticipation for the truly precious gift of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Christmas and in our own lives.
